The night before the big day can cause some anxiety.  In less than 24 hours, you’ll be vowing your love to your fiance in front of a crowd of friends and family, and you want everything to go off without a hitch. To calm your nerves and reduce the chances of something crazy happening, put these next few tasks at the top of your list. 

Double-Check Your List

Review your wedding planning checklist or consult with your wedding planner to ensure that everything has been taken care of. If there are some last-minute things that need to be tied up, ask someone from the bridal party or a relative to help out. 

Lay Out Your Dress and Accessories

Whether you’re staying in a hotel, at home, or at a friend’s house the night of the wedding, now is the time to layout your dress, shoes, and accessories. You want to make sure that you have everything from your undergarments to your veil, purse, and everything in-between.

 Eat a Healthy Meal

Don’t get so stressed out about last-minute wedding plans that you forget to eat. Prepare something nutritious as you’ll need all the strength and energy you can get for your wedding. If not, go out to dinner with relatives or close friends. 

Pack Your Bags

If you and your soon-to-be spouse on going on a honeymoon right after your wedding reception then you should pack your bags.  Make sure you have everything you need for the trip and place the luggage in a vehicle that will be going to the ceremony the next day (for easy access).

Spend Time with Friends

There’s nothing better to calm your nerves than the company of good friends. Perhaps you and your bridesmaids could have a slumber party at the hotel or you could just stay in and lounge while watching a movie and eating popcorn. 

Go to Bed Early

You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow, the last thing you want to be is tired. So, after you’ve sorted everything out and spent time with those closest to you, it’s time to turn in for the night. Turn off all distractions and get a good night’s rest. 

You’ve been planning for months and in just a few short hours you’ll be walking down the aisle to get married to the love of your life. Though your mind might want you to panic, it’s important to take it easy. Complete the few things listed above and take it easy. Chances are everything will come together just as you imagined it would.
